Sausage Biscuit Gravy

My hubby had been buying sausage gravy and biscuits and decided to try his hand at making his own sausage gravy.  He said it’s really good.  We use Pillsbury Grands for biscuits, until we are good at making those.

He took the extra and froze it to use next time they make biscuits.

  2. That is so simple! My husband would love me forever if I would make this for him.

  3. I love this kind of gravy! When I go to Cracker Barrel I always get something with the gravy. Now I can make my own? Oh dear!

  4. My hubby likes to try his hand in the kitchen too! I’m not a big fan of sausage but I have a feeling my husband would really like this!

  5. Wow, that looks so easy! I think I might even be able to make it! Thanks for the recipe!

  6. You have no idea how I miss American sausage! You wouldn’t think there would be much of a difference in New Zealand but THERE IS!

The cows and pigs and chickens are all raised very healthily here and there is not a bit of fat left to fry an egg in. I can make the gravy, but the sausage leaves a lot to be desired!

  7. Mmmmmm my family loves these.

  8. Your husband is a gem! …From the looks of the photo and recipe, also a great cook. With supervision, this looks great for kids who are just learning to cook because there’re only a few ingredients. Thanks for sharing it! Visiting from Getting To Know You Blog Hop. :)

    • Thanks for stopping by. You are right, we will soon have the kids help us with these recipes. For now the sit next to the stove and stir the mac and cheese.
