Revaluate How You Coupon

I track how much I save with this awesome spreadsheet I found at The Coupon Project. It allows me to set a budget, and input how much I spent and how much I saved. I’ve talked about this before.

What I came to realize with this information is the amount I save with coupons (outside of store savings), I’m spending to buy coupons (big gulp). This caused me to re-evaluate how much I want to spend to purchase coupons, and different ways to get coupons.

It it a good idea to continue to evolve and look at what is working in your coupon journey and make changes. Keep the things that are working, and refine those things that aren’t working, or are causing you to spend more money.

My changes involve printing more coupons, and maybe ordering those coupons that I can’t print. I trade coupons with friends, so I will do more of that too. And lastly, I’ll be writing the manufacturers and asking them for coupons.

What have you had to change in your coupon process?
