Recipe: Peppermint Bark

This is super easy and fun for kids to help with.

Great for Christmas time or anytime really.

Just two ingredients and a microwave, a little patience and you’ve got a yummy treat.

 

 

 

 

 

Peppermint Bark

Peppermint Bark

Ingredients

  • 4 squares white chocolate bark
  • 1 box candy canes

Instructions

  1. Make sure to have parchment paper layed out to spread the candy on.
  2. Use your food processor or unwrap the candy canes and place in a bag, then place in another bag and break into small pieces with a hammer
  3. In a Tupperware Vent N Serve Medium Deep, melt the chocolate at 50% for 1 1/2 minute (stirring every 30 seconds) until smooth.
  4. Once the chocolate is smooth, mix in the candy canes and stir until evenly incorporated.
  5. Spread onto the parchment paper and allow to cool.
  6. Once cooled break into half dollar size pieces.
  7. Eat and enjoy!

    • Yes! That is why I thought it would be a perfect time to buy the candy canes! It’s not like storing them another year is going to harm them. And you could make this for valentines day if you wanted.

  10. I learned this recipe in college and love it too! However, my hubby bought chocolate flavored candy canes this year, so I didn’t make it. I didn’t realize until Christmas Eve how much my oldest son missed it. I’ll never skip this recipe for Christmas again.
