I wanted to do something different for Valentines Day Cards this year and saw this cute idea on pinterest.
Again, the link did NOT have instructions so I set out to find my own way to get this done.
What you will need:
- Construction paper cut 4 inches x 6 1/2 inches (folded so it is 2″x6 1/2″
- Ziploc Sandwich bags
- glue stick
- Stapler
- Balls
I made a document that said about 8 – 10 times on it “Valentine….. You make my heart BOUNCE” and put it in red.
I cut those papers out into pieces that were about 4 ” x 1 1/2″.
I had my kids sign their names on them and make dots in a wavy pattern to show there was a ‘bounce’
We took glue stick and glued the paper onto the construction paper.
After placing the balls into the individual bags, we were ready to assemble.
You will want to fold the bag over a bit to take up some slack so the bag is not so long.
Then wiht your stapler, staple both ends of the paper to secure the bag and paper together.
You will then have a cute unique Valentine card. This would be a cute gift to also make for birthday parties, but with a different saying, of course.

How cute! I was just telling my kids this morning how much more special the handmade cards are as they were filling out 50 between them for their class….I don’t think they believed me!

I agree. It shows that effort was made versus just signing your name.
