Recipe: Frozen Chocolate Bananas

frozenbananas

We recently took a trip to Disney and enjoyed the Frozen Chocolate Banana snacks at every theme park.

I wanted to recreate these for my family as they are a great way to get the kids to eat bananas.

These were a little tricky to make and might be better if made with a crockpot full of chocolate.  I only used one brick of chocolate, so it required me to spread the chocolate on banana, before it froze the chocolate and I still needed to get the nuts on!

I made these with the kids today…the only thing I would do differently next time is to pre-freeze the bananas because the wairing was horrible!

    • I will check the recipe, but I thought I said to freeze the bananas. If I didn’t state them, I’m terrible sorry.

Yes, the first step is to stick the stix in the bananas, then you freeze them for a few hours, and then you continue on.

So sorry that was not clear.

These look delicious. I’ve been having to get extra potassium lately and don’t especially like bananas. This I can do.
