Review: Peace of Mind with your Picture Keeper

I love taking pictures.  I love printing them and having them on display and making scrapbooks (but that is another who post).

I got a picture keeper from MailPix.  The picture keeper is awesome for a few reasons.

1.  It is simple to use.

2. It searches your computer for pictures and saves a copy on itself.

3.  It is free with purchase at MailPix.  Yes FREE.

Let me explain a bit more.  I put the Picture Keeper into my USB port on my computer.  It asked me a few questions, searched my computer and told me I had over 30,000 pictures on my hard drive (I had no idea, but see, I’m really into pictures).  I then told it to begin and it started copying my photos.

I was given an estimated time to complete and that was it. It saved my photos.

Now, it didn’t get all my photos, I have massive amounts, but getting another Picture Keeper  is possible and having it start where the last one left requires a few steps and I can do that with my next order.

The Picture Keeper is light and easy to use.  It did all the work of finding my pictures and copying them.  It is important to have a back up copy of your pictures, as computers do crash, data can be lost and peace of mind can be made simply by getting a Picture Keeper with your order at MailPix.

Disclosure: I received no compensation for this publication. I did receive free product for my honest review, this did not sway my opinion.  My opinions are my own and may differ from those of your own.

Thanks for this great share, as I too take many pictures – mostly family photos – and after losing some valuable photos when my computer crashed, this Picture Keeper is exactly what I can use. It is so much simpler than burning copies on a CD and then misplacing them.

I have been wanting to get one of these. One NEVER knows when the hard drive will crash and die and you might lose those precious photos forever

  7. I don’t even know how to put a photo on the computer. I still use a regular camera.

  8. SWEET gadget! I take a LOT of pictures and I have lost some when I had computer issues. I learned to backup my pictures onto discs, but that can take a lot of time and configuring. This sounds so much simpler.

    • I lost a ton of pictures once and now I try to back them up as often as possible. This gadget is awesome as it searches your entire hard drive for pictures, instead of you selecting the pictures. Because we sometimes do miss the pictures!

That is an amazing deal. I love that it does the work for you. We have tons of computers on our computer, phones, Facebook, etc. and my wife is always worried that if they are only in one location something is going to happen and we’ll lose them. With two boys we want to save those memories and this would be a great extra back up for that.

    • I can understand what you wife means. I have an external hard drive to back up everything and do it occasionally and I like that this goes and finds the pictures for me. I had no idea I had so many. Keep those memories safe Andrew!

  10. I have so many, one of these would be perfect.
